This track takes you in the heart of the Manche valley, a wild and preserved area without any lift. The circuit follows the Trail des Hauts forts race for most of the itinerary, a race which takes place every year in August.

Here you can see some of the most beautiful places of Portes du Soleil: Bon Morand, Cou pass which puts you briefly in Switzerland, and Fornet pass above the Mine d'Or lake). The outline of the Hauts Forts, highest point of the Haut Chablais area, will still overhang you. During summer season, a shuttle connects Morzine center to Mine d'Or lake, making several stops along the way, which could be a fallback solution to shorten an outing.
